Accounting Analyst
Gofive
Job overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be the bridge between traditional accounting and digital transformation. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence by managing core financial processes while simultaneously leading the shift toward digital-first operations. This position goes beyond data entry; we are looking for a strategic partner who can execute daily transactions with precision, use those insights to identify inefficiencies, and leverage AI and Enterprise ERP systems to build a scalable, autonomous financial infrastructure.
Responsibilities
· Operational Excellence & Process Foundation: Manage key accounting operations, including AP posting, voucher creation, and tax documentation (WHT/VAT). You will execute these tasks not just for compliance, but to gain a deep understanding of data flows and identify "root cause" bottlenecks in the system.
· End-to-End Process Transformation: Lead the optimization of the entire accounting lifecycle—from Order-to-Cash to Record-to-Report. You will analyze manual workflows (such as invoice generation and payment processing) and design automated solutions to minimize manual work and maximize speed.
· Financial Partnership & Literacy: Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams (Sales, Procurement, etc.). Your goal is to "Empower the Organization through Financial Literacy", ensuring stakeholders understand financial impacts and adhere to best practices to reduce errors at the source.
· Technology & AI Integration: Proactively explore and implement AI tools and automation strategies to enhance the capability of our Enterprise ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365). You will champion initiatives to reduce paper usage and drive automation across transactional flows, payment processing, and financial reporting, minimizing manual intervention across the board.
· Internal Control & Compliance: Strengthen internal controls by redesigning workflows to be audit-ready and compliant, ensuring a seamless transition to a fully autonomous internal audit function in the future.
Qualifications
· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related strategic field.
· Experience: 0-3 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and internship experience in process improvement are welcome.
· ERP Proficiency: Experience with Enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a strong advantage. We value candidates who understand complex system data flows and module integration (CRM to ERP).
· Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Exceptional ability to look at a manual process, analyze the data, and translate it into a more efficient digital workflow.
· Tech-Savvy Mindset: A strong interest in utilizing AI, data visualization (Power BI), or automation tools to eliminate manual administrative work.
· Communication Skills: Excellent ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance teams to drive organizational alignment.
