The Human Resources Officer is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations. This role covers recruitment, employee records management, HRIS administration, payroll and benefits, employee engagement, and company policy compliance. You will work closely with all departments to support employees throughout their employment lifecycle, ensure smooth daily HR operations, and maintain compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with department managers to ensure efficient and timely hiring processes.
HR Operations, HRIS & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage and maintain the HRIS system (experience with Empeo is a strong advantage).
- Handle the employee lifecycle: onboarding, employment data changes, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate attendance, leave records, and timekeeping data.
- Prepare and process payroll, benefits, and employment contracts in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Manage Social Security registrations, terminations, contribution submissions, and benefit claims.
- Oversee Workmen’s Compensation Fund, Provident Fund, and group insurance matters.
- Coordinate work permit and visa applications for foreign employees.
Employee Relations, Compliance & Performance Management
- Develop, review, and maintain company policies and regulations.
- Manage disciplinary processes, internal investigations, and official HR documentation.
- Coordinate quarterly and annual performance appraisal cycles with department managers.
Employee Engagement & Company Activities
- Organize internal events, annual company activities, and employee engagement programs.
- Communicate company announcements, internal news, and activity updates to employees.
General Administration
- Provide administrative support and perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR operations including recruitment, compensation & benefits, and HR documentation (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Strong proficiency in HRIS systems (experience with Empeo is highly preferred).
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Strong communication, coordination, and employee engagement skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Flexible, fast learner, and able to adapt well in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
