IT Technical Support is responsible for maintaining and supporting IT systems, resolving user issues, and ensuring reliable daily operations and data security. The role provides technical assistance, manages service requests, and helps users to meet business and compliance needs efficiently.
Responsibilities
-Monitoring and maintaining computer all systems, networks, and associated applications including, but not exclusively
- Active Directory; Group policies
- Firewall and associated appliances and security applications;
- Anti-virus applications;
- Backup application and process flow;
- Patch management.
- Service Desk applications;
- Imaging applications;
- System monitoring applications
- Business application.
-Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
-Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
-Escalate to Vendors to get support from Product technical support team.
-Follow Incident Management process
-Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
-Advise business users with IT Infrastructure knowledge
-Provide deployment plan, ensure smooth transition and provide post go-live support.
-Testing, evaluating, rolling-out, and support of new technology and/or applications.
-Document system architecture and configuration have fulfilled operation use.
-Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
-Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
-Resolve user requests, incidents, production issues in accordance with service levels;
-Replacing spare parts as required.
-Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
-Provide deployment plan, ensure smooth transition to new process and provide post go-live support.
-Keep up-to-date on Infrastructure architecture and cloud technology and existing system configuration
-Coordinate with Business users and IT team on project activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 3 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure, Networking and help desk support experience.
- Knowledge of basic network, Linux Server, Microsoft Products, Office 365, VMware and client.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
- Excellent end user service skills.
- Good command in spoken and written of English.
