About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company's accounting and finance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient management of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership, analytical thinking, and process improvement capabilities. You will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting business decisions, and ensuring the company remains compliant with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting (50%)

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare monthly Financial Statements and management reports for executive review.
• Ensure accurate Revenue Recognition and Deferred Revenue accounting, including subscription, advance payments, milestones, and accrued revenue transactions.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules to ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits and act as the primary contact point for external auditors.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Finance Management & Compliance (30%)

• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes to ensure timely collections and payments.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial transactions to support business operations.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and international tax obligations.
• Handle overseas service-related tax matters, including PP.36 and PND.54 submissions, and ensure proper tax treatment of foreign vendor transactions.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting activities.
• Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate controls and corrective actions.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement (20%)

• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members to ensure high-quality performance and continuous improvement.
• Review and approve accounting work prepared by team members.
• Improve accounting processes, workflows, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive process automation initiatives and leverage accounting technologies to reduce manual work and accelerate financial close cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting and financial guidance for business operations and projects.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related fields.
• Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory, team lead, or managerial role.
• Strong experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting functions.
• Experience working with service-based businesses, project-based revenue models, or subscription-based revenue structures is preferred.
• CPD License is required.

Technical Accounting & Tax Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and accounting principles.
• Proven expertise in Revenue Recognition and Deferred Revenue management.
• Solid knowledge of international tax regulations, including PP.36 and PND.54.
• Experience preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ability to independently coordinate and manage external audits.

Leadership & Analytical Skills

• Strong leadership, planning, and people management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify anomalies and financial risks.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and generate business insights.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain accounting and financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• High integrity, accountability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Experience using Cloud Accounting systems such as PEAK.
• Comfortable working with financial systems, automation tools, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience integrating accounting processes with CRM, billing, or operational systems is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital marketing agencies, professional services firms, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses.
• Experience building accounting processes in fast-growing organizations.
• Understanding of business performance analysis and management reporting.
