Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of mortgage applicants.
- Analyze applicants' financial data, including income, assets, and liabilities.
- Review credit reports and assess credit history.
- Evaluate the risk associated with mortgage applications.
- Ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports.
- Provide recommendations on loan approvals or denials.
- Collaborate with the Mortgage Relation Management team to streamline the loan process.
- Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mortgage lending.
- Analyze loan applications and assess financial capacity.
- Exercise persuasion and negotiation skills in credit-related matters.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage lending or credit analysis within a banking or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment principles and mortgage lending regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing business financials.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and credit reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of real estate ownership transfer processes.
- Omega Performance Credit Skills (Omega License) certification is required.
- Completion of relevant mortgage lending or credit analysis training programs is highly desirable.
